Liquid Faeries are a loose collective led by Li, who is originally from Johannesburg.

Li started her journey painting murals in the night clubs of Johannesburg during the 80’s punk scene. Working in all mediums, from pencil to airbrush, sculpture and multi media.

In the early 2000’s she began working with festivals, creating giant stretch canopies and installations. Working all over Europe, from Glade (UK), Boom (Portugal), Body & Soul and The Electric Picnic (Ireland), Ozora (Hungary) and Noisily Festival (UK) to name a few. All this time refining her skills, creating lighting installations, projections , visuals, flags, dance floor canopies and sculptures in her beautiful studio in Sussex. Recently they have started producing clothing and prints, as well as curating small private bespoke events. Li is continually inspired by the many beautiful people in her life and the magical moments experienced through time and space. She is forever grateful to be able to follow her heart and create art.
